Inspect Xibu Old Street 4A creation
(Wu Yongbing) On October 12, under the guidance of the Zhangjiajie City Tourist Attractions Quality Grade Assessment Committee, the Wulingyuan District Tourism Bureau conducted an on-site inspection of the progress of Xibulo Street in its jurisdiction to apply for the creation of a 4A-level scenic spot.
In accordance with the requirements of the "Assessment and Classification of Quality Levels of Tourist Attractions", on-site inspections and on-site supervision will be conducted on the implementation of rectifications in Xibulo Old Street in terms of tourism transportation, sightseeing, signage systems, tourism safety, and environmental sanitation. Last year, due to various reasons, the establishment of Xibulo Old Street as a 4A-level scenic spot was not approved, and the Provincial Tourism Attractions Quality Rating Committee issued special rectification opinions. In accordance with the requirements of the provincial and municipal tourism departments, Xibulo Street this year combined the creation of an intangible cultural heritage experience scenic spot, redistributed the functions of the block, and improved various hardware and software facilities.
City and district tourism departments provide on-site guidance multiple times
In order to prepare for the final evaluation of the 4A-level scenic spot, the tourism departments at the municipal and district levels visited the site many times to provide on-site guidance and put forward a series of rectification suggestions. Xibu Old Street also made a list of rectifications, divided the teams into responsibilities, and implemented them within a time limit.
