It has ensured that there have been no serious road traffic accidents in the scenic spot in the past six months, and not a single tourist complaint has occurred, achieving safe and satisfactory tourism traffic.
Improving Infrastructure to Ease Traffic Difficulties
In order to improve the image and taste of urban traffic management, the Wulingyuan District Party Committee and Government has successively "renovated" Wuling Road in the urban area from white to black, built an underground passage in Charming Xiangxi, and built a visitor center at the sign gate to comprehensively alleviate the problems of parking spaces and urban traffic order. The traffic police department in the scenic area carried out scientific and reasonable control on the construction sections, diverted and diverted traffic, added duty booths at the sign gates, implemented 24-hour duty preparation, and made every effort to maintain traffic safety and long-distance travel on tourist roads; the core scenic areas of Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain 296 vehicles owned by residents were reviewed and cleared, and vehicle passes for scenic spots were uniformly issued. A two-month special rectification operation was carried out in the Yuanjiajie Scenic Spot with the public security special police, traffic management and other relevant functional departments, forming a situation of strict control of high-pressure roads.
Investigating and Rectifying Road Safety Hazards
Since the beginning of this year, in order to effectively eliminate road traffic safety hazards, the safety supervision, transportation, traffic police and other departments have implemented safety production work requirements, combined with special periods such as Spring Festival travel, peak tourism period, and flood season, to carry out solid investigation and rectification of road safety hazards, repaired Provincial Highway 306, implemented road protection facilities on roads in core scenic spots, promptly cleaned and investigated road landslides and hidden dangers, and ensured road safety. The traffic police department has scientifically and rationally adjusted its duties in view of the traffic order on the road, compiled a "police situation follows the traffic" tour model, put all police forces on the road, implemented staggered duty, off-peak line patrol, and peak escort measures, and based on the characteristics of traffic violations, We carried out 8 operations including "safety operations", special rectification of motorcycles, rectification of school buses, and supervision of supermarkets. More than 8,700 traffic violations were seized, more than 260 motor vehicles were temporarily detained, and 7 people were administratively detained, creating a good tourism and transportation environment.
