Photography touring exhibition concludes at Guangzhou South Station
(Zhang Hongtao, Chai Benmiao) On September 27, the "Border of the World" 2015 National High-speed Railway Station Zhangjiajie Scenery Photography Tour concluded successfully at Guangzhou South Railway Station. This tour was jointly organized by the Zhangjiajie Municipal People's Government, the Chinese Photographers Association, Popular Photography magazine, and Aoshen Media Group. It was held at four high-speed rail stations with concentrated passenger flow: Beijing South Railway Station, Shanghai Hongqiao Station, Guangzhou South Railway Station, and Wuhan Station. During the tour, more than 90 photography works documenting the beautiful scenery of Zhangjiajie in the four seasons of the World Natural Heritage Site were stunningly unveiled. WeChat draws were also held to give away tickets to scenic spots and distribute red envelopes, attracting the attention of many passing tourists.
Review of four-station touring exhibition journey
The first stop of the Zhangjiajie Scenery Photography Tour was launched in Beijing on July 13. Cheng Danfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhangjiajie Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Municipal People's Government, Zhu Yongwen, Secretary of the Wulingyuan District Party Committee and other leaders attended the Beijing station launch ceremony. The second stop will be held at Wuhan Station from July 22 to 29, the third stop will be held at Shanghai Hongqiao Station from September 7 to 13, and the fourth stop will end at Guangzhou South Station on September 276, with a one-week exhibition period.
Photography competitions and promotional platforms
In recent years, photography has become an important platform for the external publicity and promotion of Wulingyuan, the core scenic spot in Zhangjiajie. It has held national photography competitions for four consecutive years, collecting nearly 50,000 photos of various types, and various scenic spots companies and photography institutions actively carry out various photography exchange activities. This year, the Wulingyuan District People's Government also cooperated with the China Photographers Association to organize the Zhangjiajie Landscape Photography Exhibition "China's Good Scenery" Photography Collection Activity at the Zhangjiajie Station. A total of more than 3,000 domestic and foreign photographers have signed up to participate in the activity.
Statistics of exhibition visitors during exhibition period
According to statistics, this photography tour was held at Beijing South Railway Station, Wuhan Railway Station, Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, and Guangzhou South Railway Station for a total of 28 days. About 600,000 people visited the exhibition on-site, which played a positive role in increasing Zhangjiajie's popularity and reputation.
