Wulingyuan Recommended as Summer Resort
On June 22, good news came from the 2016 Hunan Summer Rural Tourism Festival. Wulingyuan, the core scenic spot in Zhangjiajie, was recommended as the "Best Summer Resort in Hunan in 2016" and was awarded on-site by the Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau.

By 2015, Wulingyuan District's forest coverage rate was 85.29%, ranking first in the province's (county) forest coverage rate.
