Yesterday, the Wulingyuan District Tourism Working Committee held a special meeting on the deployment of tourism reception during the Spring Festival Golden Week to mobilize and arrange work for tourism reception during the Spring Festival.
In preparation for the Spring Festival Golden Week, Zhu Yongwen, Secretary of the Wulingyuan District Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area and National Forest Park Administration, served as the leader of the leading group for tourism reception during the Spring Festival Golden Week. Chu New Year, district mayor and director of Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area and National Forest Park Administration, served as the executive deputy leader. According to their work responsibilities, four working groups were established: holiday tourism information group, tourism safety order group, logistics support emergency response group, and holiday tourism publicity group. Tourism, traffic police, public security, traffic police, scenic spot management committees and other units each perform their respective responsibilities.

In view of the actual situation of many individual tourists traveling by car during the Spring Festival, the Wulingyuan District Tourism and Foreign Affairs Bureau has conducted a thorough investigation of the hotel reservation situation in the area in advance to keep track of available rooms at any time. At the same time, tens of thousands of hand-drawn maps, service guides and other scenic area service promotional materials have been prepared and will be distributed at various tourist distribution centers and information desks during the Spring Festival. The district traffic police, transportation and other departments have formulated a traffic flow plan within their jurisdiction, adjusted and planned the parking areas around the city and scenic spots, and reserved enough parking spaces to meet the needs of self-driving cars. At present, all relevant functional departments in Wulingyuan District have begun preparations in advance and have fully launched various reception preparations.

Especially in view of low-temperature ice and snow weather, Wulingyuan District organized safety supervision, fire protection, sanitation, tourism, public security and other departments to conduct safety inspections of scenic spots, hotels and transportation to identify potential safety hazards. The District Tourism Working Committee requires relevant tourism enterprises such as ropeways, elevators, sightseeing trams, and environmentally friendly vehicles to clarify departmental supervision responsibilities and corporate safety production main responsibilities, formulate holiday tourism safety work plans, and assign tourism safety responsibilities to different positions and people.
The Wulingyuan District Tourism Working Committee Office has also established a mechanism for the immediate release of holiday tourism information. It publishes weather updates, passenger flow information and traffic conditions in scenic spots through the website and WeChat to guide tourists to reasonably allocate time for entering and exiting scenic spots. At the same time, we implement 24-hour duty to coordinate and handle various emergencies in a timely manner to ensure the normal and efficient operation of various tourism reception tasks during the Spring Festival holiday.
Scenic Area Transport Operations and Capacity Guarantee
It is estimated that during the Spring Festival, except for the Tianzishan Cableway, which is still under renovation, the Bailong Sky Ladder, Huangshizhai Cableway, Yangjiajie Cableway and other means of transportation will all operate normally, and there will be sufficient transportation capacity to ensure holiday receptions without long queues.
