French TV Station Films Zhangjiajie Documentary
From May 11th to 17th, at the invitation of the Wulingyuan District Tourism Bureau of Zhangjiajie City, the "Discovery" column of France Television 5 came to Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie, a world natural heritage site, to shoot a documentary.
The film crew is not only very interested in the unique Zhangjiajie landforms and scenic spots such as Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Huangshi Village, and Golden Whip Creek, but also presents a multi-faceted presentation of Zhangjiajie’s humanities and folk customs. The completed documentary is 50 minutes long and is expected to be broadcast on France 5 in August.
Director Talks About Reasons for Choosing Wulingyuan
Column director Laurence told reporters: "The reason why we chose Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan is because this geopark is very famous internationally. Therefore, it is necessary for us to follow the footsteps of James Cameron, the director of the American science fiction blockbuster "Avatar", in order to introduce it to the French people and even the French people." To show the world’s most beautiful natural heritage, the World Geopark, we will photograph different places in Zhangjiajie Park, especially the avatar, strange stone forests and symbolic scenic spots to show its magic and unique charm.”
