Changsha to Wulingyuan Cycling Challenge
On the 16th of this month, more than 500 cyclists will ride 300 kilometers non-stop from Changsha, Hunan to Wulingyuan, the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie, a world natural heritage site. The organizer, Wan Qikun, deputy director of the Wulingyuan District People's Government of Zhangjiajie City, said that this cycling challenge is a 300-kilometer rider qualification trial authorized by ROCN. It is the first international brand French "Afraid of Fear" high-profile bicycle event introduced to Zhangjiajie and even Hunan.
At 5 a.m. on the 16th, all contestants gathered and set off from Wangcheng, Changsha, passing through Yiyang, Taizi Temple, Changde, Reshi, Cili, and finally to Xibu Lao Street in Wulingyuan. The earliest arrival time in Wulingyuan is expected to be about 13:00 that day, and the latest arrival time is about 23:00 that night. The organizer has set up multiple check-in points throughout the cycling challenge route, so players must sign in at each point, and none of them is missing. Peng Shuangquan, chairman of the Zhangjiajie Cycling Association, who is responsible for organizing the event, said that 300 kilometers of non-stop riding is a multiple test of the players' skills, perseverance and confidence.
Background of French Paris-Brest-Paris Qualifier
It is reported that this year ROCN (the only organization authorized by the French "Are you not afraid" in China) will hold the first French "Are you not afraid" 1,200 kilometers non-stop cycling challenge in China. This event is a 300-kilometer driver qualification trial authorized by ROCN. To obtain the entry pass, contestants must complete the 200-kilometer, 300-kilometer, 400-kilometer, and 600-kilometer trial qualifications. According to the rules of the event, only the participating riders who complete the 320-kilometer non-stop cycling challenge from Changsha to Wulingyuan on that day will have the opportunity to obtain tickets for the "Afraid or Not" event.
On the 17th, contestants who complete the challenge will receive qualification certification awards at the Charming Xiangxi Plaza in Zhangjiajie, and participate in the "Send the Salmon Home" event organized by the Wulingyuan District Animal Husbandry Bureau at the core scenic spot Shuirao Simen to jointly advocate the protection of the ecological environment, care for natural heritage, and cherish the beautiful homeland.

France's "Are You Not Afraid" Non-Stop Cycling Challenge is the world's largest, most difficult, longest-running, most influential cycling challenge event with the largest number of participating countries and people. It has a history of 120 years and has been successfully held for 18 times.
