Call for submissions nears close with over 3,000 photos received
As of October 29, the call for submissions for the "Popular Photography" "China's Beautiful Scenery"-Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Division Photography Contest has come to an end. The website of "Popular Photography" has received more than 3,000 entries.
The competition is jointly sponsored by "Popular Photography" magazine, the Art Photography Committee of the Chinese Photographers Association, the People's Government of Wulingyuan District of Zhangjiajie City, Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area and the National Forest Park Administration. The awards are as follows: 5 first prizes, each with a remuneration of 5,000 yuan or prizes of equivalent value; 10 second prizes, each with a remuneration of 1,000 yuan or equivalent value Prizes; 45 third prizes, 1 gift each; China Good Scenery's year-end general stage is set up: 10 outstanding Chinese Good Scenery photographers, each with 10,000 yuan in cash for creation; 10 outstanding Chinese Good Scenery nominated photographers, each with 2,000 yuan in cash for creation; the overall stage is based on the points and strengths of the selected authors who won the sub-stages. All selected works in this competition can accumulate points for membership application of the China Photographers Association.
Over a thousand photographers attracted since race began
According to statistics from the Wulingyuan District Tourism Bureau, since the competition started in early May this year, the competition has attracted more than a thousand photographers and photography enthusiasts from all over the country to participate, more than half of whom are members of the China Photographers Association and the Provincial Photographers Association.
The competition will end on November 10. The organizer reminds participating photographers and photography enthusiasts to seize the opportunity and upload their outstanding works to the website submission address of "Popular Photography" (http://www.pop-photo.com.cn/forum_478_1.html) as soon as possible to participate in the final awards.
