Special Campaign Launched for Photo Spots in Scenic Area

With the rapid development of tourism in Wulingyuan District, there are more and more photo service points in scenic spots. In order to standardize the operation order of photo spots in scenic spots, improve the quality of tourism services in scenic spots, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of tourists, Suoxiyu Industrial and Commercial Office has launched a special rectification of photo spots in scenic spots since September 1.

Rectification of Key Areas and Companion Photo Services

The key areas for this rectification are the Huanglong Cave Scenic Area Photo Spot and the Baofeng Lake Scenic Area Photo Spot. The institute has gradually banned the accompanying photo services in the scenic area to curb the chaotic operation of the scenic spot photo spot from the source. The institute investigates and punishes illegal activities in accordance with the law such as forcing guests to take photos at photo spots in scenic spots, forcibly taking photos, cheating and robbing guests, and unclearly marking prices.

The institute carried out a special rectification of the operating order of photo spots in scenic spots for more than 2 months, and severely investigated and dealt with such behaviors as forcing tourists to take photos, asking tourists to accompany them to take photos, failing to clearly mark prices and charges in accordance with regulations, and inflating prices to deceive customers. This further standardized the order of photo operations in scenic spots and safeguarded the legitimate rights and interests of tourists. In the next step, the Industry and Commerce Office will further strengthen the daily supervision and inspection of all travel-related photography spots, and urge all business owners to operate honestly and legally.
