The much-watched 2015 "Dokas Cup" Zhangjiajie Huangshizhai Extreme Cycling Challenge has entered the final preparation stage before the competition. Today, Zhang Jiayuan, general manager of the organizer Zhangjiajie Huangshizhai Passenger Ropeway Co., Ltd. and president of the Zhangjiajie Taiwanese Business Association, revealed that in the most thrilling stage of the challenge - the volley jumping competition, Liao Wuxiong, the founder of the Little Bear Family and Taiwan's "Asian Car God", will not only serve as a guest commentator in the live broadcast of Hunan Metropolis Channel's "Metropolitan Live", but will also demonstrate extreme driving skills live.
The riders participating in the extreme challenge this time are mainly from Taiwan, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hubei and other places. The number of registrations currently exceeds 30. Among them, the Taiwanese riders are led by Qiu Zhiyun, a young female player of the Cubs Racing Team, and all-round driver Chen Bowei. The "Asian Car God" Liao Wuxiong, who is the guest commentator this time, has a deep connection with Huangshizhai. He had a close relationship with Zhang Jiayuan, the general manager of Huangshizhai Passenger Ropeway Co., Ltd. in Zhangjiajie in Taiwan. In 2014, at the first extreme bicycle downhill challenge held in Huangshizhai, Liao Wuxiong personally guided the track construction and event organization, and showed off his driving skills, which opened the eyes of many domestic extreme riders. At the same time, he also staged an extreme showdown with Taiwanese extreme rider Jiang Sihan, who has won the China Extreme Cycling Downhill Championship, on the Shizhai Fenglin track with a height difference of 432 meters and a total length of 3.86 kilometers. During the construction of the world's first peak-forest extreme downhill track in Huangshizhai Scenic Area, Liao Wuxiong was a famous teacher and promoted the high-quality construction of the track.
Liao Wuxiong's cycling career
Information shows that Liao Wuxiong got his first bicycle when he was ten years old. However, a car accident at the age of fifteen plunged his life into a low point. After the accident, the length of his feet was two to three centimeters different, and the doctor declared him disabled for life. But with his passion for cycling and hard practice, he finally set foot on a stunt bike again, winning a series of extreme cycling competitions and becoming an international champion. In 2003, he rode a bicycle and flew over Shiganduanba, becoming a veritable "Asian Car God".
In this year’s extreme challenge, Liao Wuxiong will not participate in the challenge. In addition to explaining the contestants’ competition during the live broadcast, he will also explain some knowledge and essentials of extreme cycling to the audience and riders from all over the world based on his own extreme cycling career.
