The person in charge of the District Tourism Working Committee Office said that in 2016, Wulingyuan District will set up a special marketing award of 3 million yuan to encourage tourism enterprises and social forces to carry out tourism marketing activities.
It is reported that the awards are planned to include creative marketing awards, event marketing awards, and customer source marketing awards. Any organization or individual can carry out various tourism marketing activities on their own under legal conditions. Marketing must be based on "Zhangjiajie core scenic spot Wulingyuan" and have a good market promotion effect. The reward process is carried out in accordance with the procedures of "advance declaration, preliminary approval, on-site verification, effect evaluation, meeting decision, external publicity, and fund disbursement". At the "Zhuge Meeting", marketing representatives from tourism companies and people from society who are enthusiastic about tourism marketing actively offered advice and suggestions on how to unify the external publicity slogan of Wulingyuan Tourism, use various platforms to publish tourism strategies, integrate marketing resources of various scenic spots, carry out more marketing activities, rationally distribute rewards, and brand positioning.
