Tourists Enjoy Snow During Lantern Festival
"We take pictures of the sea of clouds at the foot of the mountain and encounter spring snow on the mountain. We are really lucky!" February 22 is the traditional Lantern Festival. That morning, Ms. Jiao and her party from Nanjing, Jiangsu Province were intoxicated by the multiple beautiful scenery in front of them at Tianzi Mountain in Wulingyuan, the core scenic spot in Zhangjiajie, and pressed the shutter of the camera repeatedly.
Spring Snow Covers Wulingyuan Scenic Area
Affected by the low cold air, the Wulingyuan Gaotai Scenic Area, a World Natural Heritage Site, began to snow on the evening of the 21st. On the morning of the 22nd, Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie, Huangshizhai, Yangjiajie and other scenic spots had turned into a dreamlike fairy tale world, while the peaks in the Shili Gallery, Shuilao Simen and Suoxi Lake area were suspended in picturesque clouds and mist, surpassing the wonderland of "Avatar".
Due to the rapid rise in temperature, the spring snow in Wulingyuan did not have any impact on traffic, and various transportation tools such as environmentally friendly vehicles and cableways in the scenic area are operating normally. With the coming of spring, various mountain flowers will bloom one after another, and Wulingyuan will present a colorful "flower world" in the future.
