On August 24, Baofeng Lake Scenic Area in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie, saw a huge flow of tourists. The summer vacation is coming to an end, and students are about to start school. The craze for traveling is expected to subside, but Wulingyuan, the core scenic spot in Zhangjiajie, still maintains a hot momentum.
"The weather is getting colder at the end of summer, and the sightseeing environment is quite relaxed, so I chose to go to Zhangjiajie a few days before the start of school." A parent of a student from Changsha said this. It is understood that since August 20, the number of short-distance self-service tourists from students and families in the surrounding area has been more concentrated than in July and early August, and the number of self-service tourists from some major hotels and themed inns has also increased. According to statistics, on August 20, 21, 22, and 23, Wulingyuan core scenic spot received 47,744 visitors, 50,900 visitors, 50,819 visitors, and 42,320 visitors respectively, with the highest increase reaching 46%. The reception of secondary scenic spots such as Huanglong Cave and Baofeng Lake has also continued to grow. On the 23rd, Baofeng Lake Scenic Area received 6,269 visitors, a year-on-year increase of 116%.
