Wulingyuan Tourism Promotion Delegation to Urumqi
On July 22, a tourism promotion group organized by the Wulingyuan District Tourism Working Committee of Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province came to Urumqi to hold a tourism exchange meeting to publicize and promote the magical scenery of the World Natural Heritage and World Geopark "Zhangjiajie Landform".

Wulingyuan is more than twice the world's forest coverage rate of 34%. It is a rare ecological wonder in the world. It has the densest and most primitive forest vegetation. It is known as the "natural big oxygen bar". The average content of negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter in the air is as high as 100,000, which is dozens to hundreds of times that of ordinary cities.

Xiang Gang, deputy director of the Wulingyuan District People's Government, presented a silk painting of Zhangjiajie scenery to Michele Ablet, deputy researcher of the Urumqi Municipal Tourism Bureau. Xiang Gang, member of the Standing Committee of the Wulingyuan District Committee and executive deputy director of the District People's Government, told reporters that Wulingyuan, the core scenic spot in Zhangjiajie, is a rare place rich in tourism resources in the world. In particular, the 264-square-kilometer quartz sandstone peak forest named after the "Zhangjiajie Landform" is unique in the world. The magical Zhangjiajie landforms and scenery are loved by tourists from Xinjiang.
