Fifty Photographers Gather in Wulingyuan
From the 10th to the 12th, the "China's Good Scenery" - Fairyland Wulingyuan Photography Tour was held in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie. 50 well-known landscape photographers from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong and other parts of the country went to the scenic spot to collect scenery.
With three thousand peaks and eight hundred beautiful waters, Zhangjiajie’s unique geology and landforms deeply attract photographers. Within three days, photographers will focus on shooting scenic spots such as Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie, Golden Whip Creek, Shili Gallery, Baofeng Lake, Huanglong Cave, and Huangshi Village. Liu Shaoning, vice chairman of the Anhui Photographers Association who participated in the event, said: "Today we are all the top landscape photographers in the country who came to Wulingyuan. The beautiful scenery here shocked us. This kind of beauty cannot be locked in the mountains. I hope that we photographers can show and promote such a beautiful scenery in Wulingyuan through the lens of photography."
Multiple Parties Jointly Hold Photography Exhibition
In order to further promote the beautiful scenery of Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie, starting in May, the People's Government of Wulingyuan District of Zhangjiajie City, Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area and National Forest Park Administration, in conjunction with the Chinese Photographers Association and "Popular Photography" magazine, will jointly organize the "Popular Photography" "China's Good Scenery" - Fairyland Wulingyuan Division Photography Exhibition. At present, the competition is progressing smoothly. More than 500 photographers have taken pictures in the scenic spot and collected more than 1,000 pictures for the competition. The organizers hope to fully demonstrate Zhangjiajie’s rich tourism resources through the art of photography and further increase Zhangjiajie’s popularity at home and abroad.
Landscape Photography Exchange and Work Selection
On the afternoon of the 11th, the "China's Good Scenery" - Fairyland Wulingyuan Travel Photography and Style Exchange Meeting was held at Qinghe Jinjiang Hotel. The organizer invited the famous Chinese landscape photographer Zhai Dongfeng to give a lecture on how to take good scenery photos. More than 100 photographers from the city also had an in-depth exchange of creative experiences with photographers from the photography group.
The photography works received in advance will also be selected at the exchange meeting. Five works including "Playing in the Suo Stream" created by Zhou Yanping, "Country Household" created by Hou Bin, and "Dream of the Stream" created by Song Weihong won the first prize in the first season of the "China's Good Scenery" - Fairyland Wulingyuan Division Photography Exhibition; "Clouds rolling over the Tianzi Mountain" created by Gong Jianjun, "Morning in Huangshi Village" created by Tian Kaifeng, and Huang Xiangeng's Eleven works including "Hunting in the Lake" and "Bo" by Wang Jianhong won the second prize; 24 works including "Beautiful Wulingyuan" by Tian Xuezhong and "Light in the Forest Reflecting the Golden Whip Stream" by Xiang Jinci won the third prize. All winning works can accumulate points for membership application of the China Photographers Association.
