Global Naming Contest Launched
The reporter learned from the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area in Hunan that day that the world's longest and highest fully transparent glass bridge, which will be opened to the public before May next year, will launch a global naming campaign on December 25. On the same day, the person in charge of the scenic spot, Chen Zhidong, dressed as Santa Claus, announced the message of "One word, ten thousand, global naming" on the glass bridge in Helong earlier this month.
The glass bridge is located in the Lishuya and Wuwangpo areas of the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area. It has a total length of 430 meters and a width of 6 meters. The relative height of the bridge deck from the valley bottom is about 300 meters. The bridge deck is entirely paved with transparent glass. There is the world's highest bungee jumping platform in the center of the bridge, with a maximum tourist capacity of 800 people. After its completion, it will be the world's longest and highest glass bridge, the world's first large-scale bridge with glass as the main force-bearing structure, and many other "bests in the world."

The reward standard for the selected names is 10,000 yuan per word, with the number of words within 10 (inclusive). The words "Zhangjiajie, Grand Canyon, Glass Bridge" are not included. In addition to the cash prize, the winning author will also be awarded the lifelong honorary title of "Namer of the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge" and a lifetime free tour of the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area.
