Huangshizhai extreme cycling race kicks off in November

(Wu Yongbing Li Zeng) The author learned from Zhangjiajie Huangshizhai Passenger Ropeway Co., Ltd. that the 2015 Zhangjiajie Huangshizhai Extreme Cycling Challenge is scheduled to "start" on November 8. You will challenge the extreme rappelling on the 3,000 steps and jungle in Huangshizhai Scenic Area, and perform a volley leap on the 5.2-meter-high and 4-meter-wide platform.

It is reported that more than 20 extreme cycling athletes from both sides of the Taiwan Strait will perform extreme downhill on the world's first peak forest extreme downhill track that has just been built. The starting point is Liuqi Pavilion, the highest point on the top of Huangshizhai Mountain, and the end point is the parking lot at the lower station of Huangshizhai Cableway. The terrain of the entire track is complex, with many steep slopes, many 90° sharp turns, and a slope of more than 45%. The track includes dark ditches, thorns, gravel, trees and vines, aerial jumping platforms and 3,000 steps. It is currently the most complex terrain and most difficult mountain bike extreme track in China. After experiencing the extreme downhill descent of 3,000 steps and jungle, the athletes then stood on a 5.2-meter-high and 4-meter-wide platform under the Huangshizhai Cableway for a volley leap challenge.
