The fine wood is not decayed, and the peaks and forests bear witness. On April 28, the 2018 Chen Fuli and Chen Bo Photography Art Exhibition was held at the lower station of the Tianzi Mountain Cableway in the core scenic area of Wulingyuan.
At 10 a.m., relevant leaders of Zhangjiajie City and Wulingyuan District, guests from the photography art circles at all levels, family members of Mr. Chen Fuli and Chen Bo, as well as nearly 30 news media from China News Service and Xinhua News Agency, jointly witnessed the opening of this photography art exhibition. At the opening ceremony, the participating leaders and guests expressed their high respect for the two artists Chen Fuli and Chen Bo, who actively promoted Zhangjiajie to the world through their photography works, made the out-of-print landscapes of Zhangjiajie that were raised in boudoirs appear overseas, and made great contributions to the development of Zhangjiajie's tourism industry. They also issued exclusive commemorative plaques to the families of the two artists.
Two artists, Chen Fuli and Chen Bo, are leading figures in the Chinese photography industry. Their artistic achievements are famous at home and abroad, and they have a place in the world's photography art palace. In the spring of 1981, two artists from the art world were invited to Zhangjiajie to create photography. Later, the landscape works they took were published in more than 10 pages in the 18th issue of Hong Kong's "China Travel" magazine with the themes of "Unknown Rock Peaks and Wonders" and "Journey to Western Hunan", which opened the curtain on Zhangjiajie's entry into Hong Kong and the world. After that, the two artists came to Zhangjiajie many times to carry out photography creation, and actively promoted Zhangjiajie's beautiful natural scenery and rich tourism resources. In 2005, the Zhangjiajie Municipal Government awarded Chen Fuli the Zhangjiajie Honorary Citizen Commemorative Plaque.
The Tianzi Mountain Chen Fuli and Chen Bo Photography Art Gallery was established and open to visitors free of charge. It not only showcases the artistic achievements of the two artists, but also allows tourists to enjoy the magical beauty of Zhangjiajie and appreciate the classic works of the two artists. At the same time, this move will forever remember the older generation of photographers who have contributed to the development of Zhangjiajie, so that their names will forever be recorded in the history of Zhangjiajie’s development.
