Film Wulingyuan Officially Starts Shooting
On the morning of the 23rd, the Kung Fu comedy film "Kang Hu Huang Bai's Chicken and Dog Jump" directed by Luo Qi, director of Hong Kong Jackie Chan's Family Class, started filming in Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan.
According to the main creative staff of the film, "Kang Hu Huang Bai Zhi Fei Dog Dan" is a film about the local regional characteristics, landform characteristics, and humanistic customs of Zhangjiajie. The panoramic shots will be mainly shot in Zhangjiajie. Xibu Old Street in Wulingyuan became the first choice for the film as it "matches" the plot scenes.
Zhangjiajie Local Elements Integrated into the Plot
It is reported that this film starring De Wei, Chen Guantai, Lu Fen and others was created by Zhangjiajie natives who worked hard in Shenzhen. It tells the story of Zhang Zhiheng, a young master from a wealthy family, who went to an ancient town to find an ancestral treasure in order to save his family from crisis. He learned that the treasure had been secretly guarded by the descendants of the four major families, Kang, Hu, Huang, and Bai, and was also coveted by all walks of life. With the help of Grandma Bai, Kung Fu King, Drunkard and other seniors, the descendants of the four families of Kang, Hu, Huang and Bai successfully drove away the thieves and protected the national cultural relics treasure after a fierce battle of wits and courage with various treasure thieves. This series of ups and downs reflects the determination and feelings of ordinary families in today's era to protect national cultural relics.
One of the main creative staff said that implanting Zhangjiajie's "Avatar"-like scenery into the movie will make the movie "the icing on the cake." The film is expected to be released in theaters across the country during the summer season in July 2016.
