The author learned from the Zhangjiajie City Wulingyuan District Tourism Working Committee Office on January 20 that due to the low temperature, rain, snow and freezing weather, environmentally friendly vehicles were suspended on some sections of the mountain in the core scenic area of ​​Wulingyuan in Zhangjiajie (traffic will be resumed after the ice is lifted, and the time will be notified later). The specific suspension routes are: the section from Tianzishan Helong Park to Yangjiajie Wulongzhai; Tianzishan Sinanyu Ticket Station to the three-way intersection of Liangyuan Road. At the same time, the traffic police department implemented traffic control on this section of the road. The Wulingyuan District Tourism Working Committee Office hereby reminds: Wulingyuan will continue to have low-temperature and freezing weather for several consecutive days. Travel agencies, tour guides, and self-guided tourists are requested to choose routes based on the traffic conditions in the scenic area to ensure travel safety. At the same time, tourists from all over the world must take anti-slip and anti-freeze measures when entering core scenic spots, and pay attention to their own safety protection.

It is reported that a total of 116 environmentally friendly vehicles are currently in operation in core scenic areas. The environmentally friendly passenger transportation company in the scenic area is making every effort to organize efforts to defreeze and anti-skid the frozen road sections and strive to resume environmentally friendly passenger transportation services on the out of service sections as soon as possible. In response to the low temperature and freezing weather, the Wulingyuan District Tourism Working Committee Office quickly made arrangements, requiring all scenic area enterprises, scenic area management committees, offices and other relevant functional units to strengthen safety precautions and daily inspections of scenic areas, and provide various tourist guidance services.

Eco-Buses on Lower Routes Operating Normally

It is also understood that at present, environmentally friendly vehicles are operating normally on all routes down the mountain in the core scenic area, and environmentally friendly vehicles are also operating smoothly on the sections from Bailong Elevator Station to Mihuntai, and from the First Bridge in the World to Wulongzhai. At the same time, Huanglong Cave, Baofeng Lake and the surrounding Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Scenic Area outside the core scenic area of ​​Wulingyuan also remain open normally. The Bailong Sky Ladder, Yangjiajie Cableway, Huangshizhai Cableway and other means of transportation also remain in normal operation.
