Wulingyuan Summer Tourism Reception Heats Up
On August 8, an endless stream of Chinese and foreign tourists enjoyed the beautiful scenery of peaks and forests surrounded by clouds and mist in Wulingyuan, the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie, a world natural heritage site. Entering August, Wulingyuan's "summer tour" reception is heating up, with crowds surging in key scenic spots such as Tianzi Mountain, Huangshi Village, Yangjiajie, Baofeng Lake, and Huanglong Cave.
According to news from the Wulingyuan District Tourism Committee Office, judging from the current tourist reception volume, Wulingyuan scenic spot has many attractions, long tour routes, and the overall reception space is very sufficient, but there is still a large gap between the daily capacity approved by the National Tourism Administration. Therefore, tourists from all over the world do not have to worry about crowding when entering various scenic spots in Wulingyuan. In addition, at present, various hotels and specialty B&Bs in Wulingyuan have enough beds to meet the accommodation needs, and the housing prices have basically remained stable.
Orderly Operations on All Tour Routes
In recent days, the author has seen that all tours are in good order on the tourist routes such as Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie, Shuirao Simen, Huangshi Village, Baofeng Lake, Huanglong Cave, and Bailong Ladder, which have the highest number of tourists in Wulingyuan. Except for short queues at some environmentally friendly passenger transport stations, there were no long queues on the four air transport lines of Bailong Sky Ladder, Tianzishan Cableway, Yangjiajie Cableway and Huangshizhai Cableway, and the up and down mountain passages were smooth and orderly. In particular, the upgraded Bailong Ladder and Tianzi Mountain Cableway provide great convenience for tourists to quickly go up and down the mountain.
High Pressure on Summer Tourism Support
The annual summer travel peak is also the time when travel security pressure is greatest. The person in charge of the Wulingyuan District Tourism Work Committee Office said that after entering the summer vacation, the main leaders of the Wulingyuan District Tourism Work Committee and Zhang Management Bureau were all on the front line to command and ensure reception, and almost all members of the scenic spot management committees and tourism companies were on duty. Especially in view of the persistent high temperature weather and heavy rainfall this summer, we organized and guided the diversion in an orderly manner and comprehensively strengthened safety precautions to ensure that tourists are safe and satisfied in Wulingyuan. Since late July, there have been no major tourism complaints in Wulingyuan District.
Various cultural activities in Wulingyuan District are also busy this summer. The Folk Culture Month and the Huanglong Music Season are brilliant, providing a summer cultural feast for Chinese and foreign tourists. According to incomplete statistics, since August, the average daily reception volume in Wulingyuan District has exceeded 100,000.
