Snowy Macaque Troops in Wulingyuan
In scenic areas such as Golden Whip Stream and Huangshi Village in Zhangjiajie's Wulingyuan, troops of wild macaques have appeared. They chase each other across the snow, leap among the branches, crouch along the frozen trails waiting for visitors to feed them, or carry their young and nuzzle one another — their endearing antics draw crowds of curious tourists.
