Competition Background and Purpose
The World Natural Heritage - Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area is famous both at home and abroad for its magical landscapes such as peaks and cliffs, strange mountains and rivers, and uniqueness in the world.
What would it be like to overlook Wulingyuan from a high altitude? Let us use drone aerial photography to show Wulingyuan, the core scenic spot of Zhangjiajie, from a new bird's-eye view.
In order to comprehensively display the tourism resources of Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area, promote the new image and attitude of Zhangjiajie tourism in various aspects, and further promote the characteristics and highlights of Wulingyuan's tourism and economic development, Hunan Daily, the Wulingyuan District People's Government of Zhangjiajie City, Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area and the National Forest Park Administration jointly organized the 2016 "Baofeng Lake" Cup First Aerial Wulingyuan Photography Competition, which is now open to photographers at home and abroad.

Organizing Bodies
1. Qualification review. During the film competition period (April 8 to December 31, 2016), photographers applying for entry passes must first undergo a qualification review by the Hunan Daily News and Image Center (telephone number: 0731-84329973). After passing the review, the photographer shall go to the Tourism and Foreign Affairs Bureau of Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City to apply for a participation certificate with his valid ID (address: Guihua Road, Jundi, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City, contact number: 0744-5611109).
2. Document processing. Participation certificates are divided into A certificate and B certificate. Members of photographers associations at or above the provincial level, full-time news photographers and photographers from professional photography organizations can apply for A certificate. Holding an A-card and a valid ID card, you can enter Wulingyuan core scenic spots and supporting scenic spots for free and unlimited times for shooting. Ordinary photography enthusiasts can apply for a B-card. With the B-card and their valid ID card, after purchasing tickets for Wulingyuan core scenic spots and supporting scenic spots (each ticket station and supporting scenic spots will be stamped on the back of the exhibition card for confirmation), they can enter Wulingyuan core scenic spots and supporting scenic spots for unlimited shooting during the film competition period (April 8 to December 31, 2016) with the tickets purchased for the first time. When applying for a competition pass, a 1-inch ID photo is required.
3. Work display. During the film competition, the "Xiangying" channel of the new Hunan client (currently downloaded by more than 7 million users), the website of the competition Hunan Picture Network (http://pic.voc.com.cn) and the website of Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan District Tourism (http://www.hnzjj.com) opened columns to display the entries, and made special releases on the WeChat platform of the News Image Center of Hunan Daily, the Hunan Photographers Association website and the WeChat platform.

2 gold medal winners with bonuses of RMB 20,000 each
4 Silver Medals, each with a bonus of RMB 5,000
6 bronze medal winners, each with a bonus of 2,000 yuan
10 finalists will receive a bonus of RMB 1,000 each

6. Instructions for submission
Submission Guidelines
1. Entries must be drone aerial photography.
2. The work must be an original work based in Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City.
3. Submission method: ⑴ Email submission: send the work to 4329536@163.com (indicate the film competition entries); ⑵ Independent upload: The author can register on the website of the competition (Hunan Picture Network http://pic.voc.com.cn) or the new Hunan News client and upload the work as required.
4. Name the work: the name of the work + the name of the author. For group photos, add the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 after the name of the work (the group photo should not exceed 6 photos), and attach the shooting time, shooting location and other relevant information.
5. It is forbidden to provide computer-created works and works that change the original image (photos can only be moderately adjusted for brightness, contrast, and color saturation, and technical processing such as synthesis, addition, and substantial color changes are not allowed).
6. When taking aerial photography, please shoot in RAW and JPG formats at the same time. Submitted pictures must be in color JPG format, with a size of about 5M, and the long side must not be less than 3000 pixels.
7. After the work is awarded, the author must provide the original image (RAW and JPG formats). If the original photo cannot be provided on time, the organizer has the right to disqualify the work from winning.
7. Selection method
Judging Method and Special Statement
The selection adopts a combination of WeChat voting and expert review, adhering to the principle of fairness and justice. The organizer will set up a voting page on the WeChat platform of the Hunan Daily News and Image Center. Netizens will vote first, and then organize a team of experts to select the works. WeChat voting accounts for 40%, expert review accounts for 60%, and the overall score determines the award.
8. Special statement
1. There is no entry fee for this competition and no submissions will be returned. For all award-winning works, the organizer has the right to use them in tourism promotions and albums, exhibitions, newspapers, magazines, CDs and other public welfare publicity without additional royalties.
2. The author shall have independent and complete copyright for the submitted work; the legal responsibility for the portrait rights, reputation rights and other legal responsibilities involved in the work shall be borne by the author.
3. Contestants must not violate relevant Chinese laws and regulations when taking aerial photography, nor must they violate relevant regulations in the location where the filming is taken. Laws, regulations and regulations include but are not limited to drone flight management control measures, drone flight area management, ground shooting management, etc.
4. Participants must obey the management of the scenic spot, must not affect the normal tour of tourists, and pay attention to the personal safety of tourists. All accidents, liabilities and losses incurred during aerial photography shall be borne by the photographer himself. When applying for a certificate, a safety liability exemption agreement must be signed.
5. The personal income tax involved in this event will be collected and paid by the organizer.
6. Contributors are deemed to agree to and abide by the above provisions.
7. The organizer has the final right to interpret this event.
