Shenzhen tourist sends banner of thanks

"Faithful to duty, serving the people." These are the words of praise on a banner that Shenzhen tourist Wang Yu recently sent to the Tianzi Mountain office of Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

At around 5 p.m. on July 18, while touring the Yunqingyan scenic spot in the Tianzi Mountain area, Wang Yu and his group from Shenzhen accidentally dropped an iPhone 6 into the deep cliff valley at Yunqingyan. Because the phone contained a large amount of important information and photos taken during their trip, Wang Yu was extremely anxious and quickly sought help from the Tianzi Mountain office.

Staff rush to the scene to carry out the rescue

After receiving the report, office staff members Deng Yong and Mao Xinping arrived at the scene in less than 5 minutes. After learning the approximate location where the phone was lost, the two immediately tried to help retrieve it. However, because it had just rained, the cliff was deep and the bushes were slippery, making retrieval extremely difficult. They quickly contacted the Tianzi Mountain fire brigade to request professional support.

After discussion, one person took charge of directing, one firefighter descended the cliff on a rescue rope to search, and the others stayed above to hold the rope and provide safety cover. After half an hour of effort, the visitor's phone was finally found and returned intact to its owner. Seeing that it was getting late and that Mr. Wang and his companions had no guide, Deng Yong and Mao Xinping escorted them all the way down the mountain until they boarded the shuttle bus, and only then did the two feel at ease to leave.

Tourist sends banner of thanks after returning to Shenzhen

After finishing his trip to Zhangjiajie and returning to Shenzhen, Mr. Wang still felt grateful and could not forget the warm service attitude of the scenic area staff, so he specially sent a banner of thanks from Shenzhen.
