Baizhang Gorge to Huanglong Cave road section proposed for reconstruction
On September 20, the author learned from the highway department of Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City that the district plans to improve the quality of the road from Baizhangxia to Huanglongdong in the urban area, with a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour. At present, the survey and design project of the road section's quality improvement project (municipal road) has entered the domestic public bidding process. October 8 is the bid opening time, and the survey and design period of the winning bidder is 90 calendar days.
Total length 7.26 km, dual carriageway with four lanes
It is understood that the municipal road planned to be renovated this time in Wulingyuan City starts from Baizhangxia in the south and ends at Huanglongdong parking lot in the east. It will be constructed along Zhangqing Highway with a total length of 7.26 kilometers and a road width of 21 meters. The road grade is a two-way four-lane urban main road, and the road structure is asphalt concrete pavement. Supporting improvements include road drainage, power supply, telecommunications, greening, lighting and other construction.
Pace of road quality improvement in Wulingyuan urban area
In the past two years, Wulingyuan District has invested hundreds of millions of yuan to accelerate the pace of upgrading the urban municipal roads. It has successively completed the "white to black" project of the eastern section of Wuling Road, Guihua Road, Tianzi Road, Wuling Middle Road, Bailu Road and other sections to high standards, giving the urban road a completely new look. With the steady progress of the municipal road improvement project from Baizhangxia to Huanglongdong in the urban area, Wulingyuan's tourism transportation environment will be further improved.
