Zhangjiajie National Forest Park has introduced the "Unlimited Travel Annual Card" at a discounted price of 399 yuan per card, covering the main gate ticket, the shuttle bus, and the "three cableways and one elevator." The regular price of this package is 1,998 yuan per person, including the main gate ticket, shuttle bus, Tianzi Mountain Cableway, Bailong Elevator, Huangshizhai Cableway, and Yangjiajie Cableway.
For visitors planning to enter the park multiple times within a year, this card bundles the entrance ticket with the main transport facilities inside the park, saving the trouble of buying separate tickets each time.
Presale Lasts Only 11 Days
The annual card presale runs from December 19 to 29, 2025, available both online and offline, for only 11 days; after that, the regular price returns.
- Online: purchase directly through the WeChat mini-program "Zhangjiajie Travel Assistant," the "Zhangjiajie Tourism" WeChat account, and channels such as Douyin, Meituan, and Ctrip.
- Offline: buy on site at the ticket office at the park entrance with a valid ID document.
- Usage: at each ticket station of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, scan your valid ID document and register your face to enter; ride the three cableways and one elevator by facial recognition at the gates.
- Refunds and exchanges: unused cards may be refunded unconditionally within 7 days of purchase; after 7 days from purchase, the card is automatically activated for the full 2026 validity period and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Validity Period and Blackout Dates
After purchase, the card allows unlimited entry to the scenic area from January 1 to December 31, 2026, and rides on the shuttle bus, Tianzi Mountain Cableway, Bailong Elevator, Huangshizhai Cableway, and Yangjiajie Cableway. Note that the Spring Festival, May Day, and National Day holidays are excluded; the annual card cannot be used during these periods.
Resident Ticket: Three Cableways and One Elevator for 99 Yuan
At the same time, a "three cableways and one elevator" resident ticket is also offered. The regular multi-ride ticket for the three cableways and one elevator is 298 yuan per person, while the resident ticket costs only 99 yuan per person.

Practical Tips
- The scenic area uses timed, station-specific real-name reservations; even with a valid annual card, you still need to reserve a time slot and ticket station in advance for each entry.
- For a first visit, or when bringing elderly people or children, the East Gate (Wulingyuan Landmark Gate) is recommended; it has the most complete facilities and convenient connections to the Bailong Elevator, Shili Gallery, and Tianzi Mountain Cableway.
- To hike Jinbian Stream, choose the South Gate; to avoid crowds and see the peak walls, choose the West Gate; to save effort and go straight to the summit, choose the North Gate.
- The annual card does not cover the Spring Festival, May Day, or National Day holidays, so try to avoid these three periods when planning your trip.
- The three cableways and one elevator are accessed by facial recognition, so please carry the original ID document used for purchase when traveling.
Current Standards in Effect
Starting January 1, 2025, the Wulingyuan core scenic area has abolished the peak and off-peak price difference, with a unified ticket price of 165 yuan per visit, valid for 4 consecutive days. Transport inside the scenic area (shuttle bus, etc.) is 71 yuan, and personal accident insurance is 3 yuan, totaling 239 yuan for the three items. This site treats the 3 yuan insurance as complimentary, so visitors pay only 236 yuan in practice. It should be noted that the 165 yuan is only the price of the ticket itself and does not include scenic area transport or insurance, so there is no need to be puzzled by the three figures 165, 236, and 239 — they refer to different scopes.
