Special meeting on inspection preparation held
The National Tourism Administration will carry out the review and assessment of national 5A-level scenic spots in September. In order to comprehensively carry out the review and inspection work of Wulingyuan's national 5A-level scenic spots, Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan Scenic Area and the National Forest Park Administration recently held a special meeting on the inspection work of 5A-level scenic spots to make comprehensive arrangements and deployment for the final re-inspection of national 5A scenic spots. The meeting was chaired by Zhu Yongwen, Secretary of the Wulingyuan District Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Scenic Area Management Bureau. More than 30 people from the Home Bureau and heads of various management units of the scenic area attended the meeting.
The meeting carefully listened to the reports from the heads of the management units of nine scenic spots including Huangshizhai, Jinbianxi, and Tianzi Mountain on the review and inspection work of national 5A-level scenic spots. The meeting fully affirmed the achievements of each management unit of the scenic spot. The administration attached great importance to it and strictly compared the "National Standard Evaluation Rules for the Assessment and Classification of Quality Levels of Tourist Attractions". Combining the requirements of superiors and the actual situation of the scenic spot, a total of 69 specific issues in 31 projects that affected the evaluation of 5A-level scenic spots were sorted out from eight aspects. In response to these problems, the Administration insisted on addressing these problems with both hands and with both hands, investing up to 14 million yuan. After nearly half a year of work, both hardware construction and software services have been comprehensively improved. Tourism transportation has become smoother, infrastructure has become more complete, safe tours have become more convenient, environmental sanitation has become cleaner, consulting services have become more detailed, resource protection has become more stringent, and comprehensive management has become more standardized.
Problems identified and next steps deployed
While fully affirming the achievements, the meeting also pointed out actual problems in hardware construction and software management. Deployments were made for the next step of the work. First, organize a review, carefully sort out, check for omissions and fill in the vacancies. Focus on various problems discovered and sorted out during the supervision, through centralized rectification, overt inspections and secret visits, regular reviews and other methods, adopt a "cancellation system" to track and supervise the rectifications in place, and cancel the accounts one by one. Do a good job in collecting, sorting, and compiling various documents, pictures, and dynamic information materials. Do a good job in reporting and docking with the national, provincial and municipal tourism authorities, and timely understand and grasp the status of the review and inspection of national 5A-level scenic spots. The second is to take the re-inspection of the national 5A tourist attraction as an opportunity, focus on the maintenance of tourist trails and the construction of tourist toilets, actively strive for tourism project funds, and increase the infrastructure construction of core scenic spots. Prepare the "Wulingyuan Core Scenic Area Tourism Infrastructure Project Construction Plan" as soon as possible. The third is to establish a long-term management mechanism in accordance with the principle of "territorial management", strengthen normalized management, actively urge tourism enterprises in scenic spots to strengthen the implementation of rectifications, and comprehensively improve the comprehensive management level and service quality of scenic spots. The fourth is to strengthen the protection of resources and environment in scenic spots. Effectively carry out the resettlement work of Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area and Yuanjiajie Scenic Area.
Sprint stage requires problem-oriented approach
Zhu Yongwen requested that the achievements made by various units in the scenic area in the review and inspection work are obvious to all. Now it has entered the final sprint stage of the national 5A-level tourist attraction review and inspection work. In order to ensure that Wulingyuan Scenic Area successfully passes the national 5A-level scenic spot assessment qualitative re-inspection, it must be problem-oriented and focus on safety satisfaction and scenic area management service competition activities. Focus on the key, difficult and hot issues existing in the scenic area, and focus on special rectification.
It is reported that the re-inspection work of national 5A-level scenic spots has attracted great attention and attention from provincial and municipal leaders since it was launched in March. The provincial tourism authorities made a special trip to the scenic spots to inspect the re-inspection work of 5A-level scenic spots to help identify problems; Municipal Party Committee Secretary Yang Guangrong personally led a team to conduct on-site inspections of 5A-level scenic spots. The progress of the re-inspection of the scenic spot; Cheng Danfeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, led relevant departments to go deep into the scenic spot and provide on-the-spot guidance; representatives of the municipal and district people's congresses and members of the CPPCC also conducted comprehensive supervision and inspections on the implementation of rectification of issues in the scenic spot, listened to reports, gave feedback, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions.
